Weapon Attack Animation Pack 1

Inside there are 4 sets of weapon attack animations, each set with individual 512x512 PNG images for you to put together in a sprite sheet for your game using your own processes or a sprite sheet packer such as this.

These animations could be used whenever a character attacks an enemy or vice versa. You can overlay one of these sprites on top of the victim.

As listed below, this resource is being provided under an "Attribution" license.  This means you are free to use it for any purpose as long as "Pow Studios" is given credit.

(the black background in the following preview images are not in the final frames)

Cut_A
This attack is a straightforward diagonal sword cut. You could use this if your character has a katana or short sword.

Cut_B
This attack is a sword uppercut. Use this for a large claymore swing or axe attack.
Cut_C
This attack could be used for a claw attack for your more animalistic characters, or even a Sai armed character.
Cut_D
This cut is a sword swing with a perspective.

You are doing God's work son, keep it on

Thanks

I am a programming student working on a big project, and these effects are perfect. We are making a turn-based fantasy battler like the old Final Fantasy fights, and having these draw over defender sprites when struck looks awesome.  Is there one page that has links to all of your effects sets? I got all the links posted on gamedev.net but wanted to make sure I'm not missing any. The fire/smoke/blood will come in handy when we get our spell effect system up and running. The game's site is www.dansopel.com/ddt, and I can be found at dansopel@gmail.com if you have any other suggestions. Pow Studios will be credited wherever we can, thanks a lot for these.
